THE REVIEW
First let me say this.... if you don't like erotica or aren't comfortable with the BDSM lifestyle, then this book isn't for you.  Also you must read Saving Abel first before you read this book.

Now, onto the review!!

I have been impatiently waiting for this book to come out... from the moment Saving Abel ended, I was bugging Gina about when this book would be done.  I had to read it.  I HAD TO!!!!

Gia is heartbroken over Abel turning his back and leaving her... so much so she makes a devastating decision.  Seeing her absolute devastation is heartbreaking, but she gets help in the most surprising person. A person who wants to get her back with Abel and have them stay together this time.

Once Abel finds out what happened after he left and is reunited with her, he's heartbroken, and sets about making it up to her.  He realizes he's been lied to about Gia by people who want to bring her down, but knows they belong together.  They are both broken, dealing with demons of their own, but together they realize they are stronger together.

What they don't expect is that someone is helping the woman out to break them apart.  They don't know who, but Abel is determined to find out and take care of them.  The last thing he wants is for Gia to be hurt again.

I honestly read this book in less then a day!!  I could.not.stop.reading.it!!  Within the first fifteen minutes I had fallen in love with Abel all over again!!  For Gia, being back with her man is everything for her.  She knows she's in danger, but she loves him completely and does not want to lose him. She understands him better then most people would, and he loves her more for it.

EXCERPT
HOT excerpt (from Volume One- DreamZ) Why? Why the torture? Each and every single night since I became a woman I awaken sweating, panting, hot and bothered from the pure sexual torture. Many times with my hand rubbing my most intimate place. A dream, so many dreams. Each one is different, but all contain the same faceless dark haired stranger.
“UGH!”
The only things I know for sure is he is tall, has raven black hair, the same color as mine, but much shorter. He has the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen. Glowing eyes that seem to be able to see into my soul. My heart’s deepest desires and he always grants them to me without pause. It was strange at first, seeing him and yet not. Not being able to make out his facial features, except for his eyes. I got used to it throughout the years, I guess. One thing I DO know, is the way he makes me feel, always!
So much passion, heat and desire. He makes me feel beautiful, irreplaceable and wanted in a way, I imagine, every woman wants to feel.
Frustration at its finest. This latest dream seemed more realistic than all of the others. I still feel the ripples on my skin from his touch; the most intimate touch I’ve ever experienced, the only touch from a male I’ve had in such a manner. The goose bumps are just starting to go away. His caress is always so sensual and arousing. My mouth is still dry from all of the panting I’ve done, my panties are drenched and my heart is still pounding.
No words could ever describe my desire to meet this man of my dreams. That is—if he truly does exist. I’m going to be 25 years old and have zero sexual experience. I’d give anything to feel even a portion of what I’ve felt during these amazingly satisfying yet torturous dreams. Anything!
When I finally do get out of bed and stroll towards the bathroom, the floors feel extra cold on my overheated feet. “Definitely starting off with a cold shower.” I turn on the water full blast cold, toss my sleep shirt and panties in the hamper and brace for the shock of cold water against my flesh. “ACK!” Holy crap does it sting. But hey, it works. My body no longer feels the intense heat of arousal, just the residual tingles left after the orgasm, still lingering along my body. I fully submerge after adding some hot water to the mix, when I hear banging on the bathroom door. I jump slightly and slip a bit, almost landing flat on my ass. Luckily, I have fast reflexes and right myself quickly.

GUEST POST Zombies!
Wunder Series - Guest Post Photo 1
What are they? Well, they’re the walking dead, duh! Seriously though, the zombies (aka the infected) in Wunder have been terrorizing the planet for over 30 years. They are gruesome, strong, and much faster than the average zombie you see on television. They are also a lot smarter. They know how to trap their prey and the best way to get them down for the kill. They crave protein due to its ability to strengthen their muscles and improve their physical condition. So, when they attack their prey (humans), they start off with consuming whatever blood they can get and work their way deep, to get to the marrow of their prey’s bones.
The origin of the contagion is not yet known, but it is under constant investigation. Some say it is alien based, something that was brought to the planet by other worldly beings with hopes all humans would die and the aliens would take over, live and flourish as if we were never here. That’s not yet been proven.
Others say, that it was created as a biochemical weapon from one of Russia’s or Korea’s mad scientists that are out for destruction of anywhere but their country, so they can have all control. But those theories are… Just theories, nuff said.
One thing we do know for sure is Wunder is a rarity. How many people do you know that can actually say they are part zombie? Exactly! NONE.
She now fights alongside some others, to help all that are terrorized by the infected to stay alive and uninfected. She doesn’t see them as kin or anything of the like. She sees them as enemies, targets, needing to just be…gone. And that’s what she’s trained to do for a majority of her life. Taught by her 100% human father and his comrades. Kill or be killed!

THE REVIEW

I thought this story was really cute!!

Sean Collins has been dealt a pretty hard deal in life.  He's a single father, survived cancer and a divorce.  Top it off with the love of his life destroying him when they were teenagers, it's amazing he can manage to get through a day.

Set on revenge on the principal who fired him when he got diagnosed, he's shocked to see Gigi Dumont, the woman who had ripped out his heart, in the principal's office.  She's the French teacher, and her students have won an international competition in France.  The principal has decided to cancel the trip, and she is trying to save it.

Sean never thought he would be in Paris with the woman he was set on hating.  Once he spends some time with her, he realizes quickly he doesn't hate her at all.  In fact, it is so far from hate for him.

Gigi knows she can not be alone with Sean.  He is a good man, and she doesn't deserve him taking care of her and her students.  She knows she damaged him, but she felt she had no choice making the decision she did.  There is a lot to make up for.  Also, she doesn't think her heart can handle if he broke it.

I so loved this story!!  I loved Sean, because at the end of the day, he was a good man.  He really wanted to hate Gigi, and honestly, he had every right to be angry with her.  He just couldn't be angry with her.  His love for her was too strong.

EXCERPT
Payback time. Standing in his mother’s kitchen, Sean Collins smiled as he hung up the phone. He hovered at the phone for a moment, then charged along the carpeted hallway to his bedroom. In a flash, he changed from his T-shirt and jeans into his black pin stripe king-of-the-business-world suit complete with black tie and shiny black shoes. Finished dressing, Sean jittered at the door and listened to his son talking nonstop to his mother upstairs. His skin tingled and he closed his eyes. At least moving to his parents’ country estate where he had grown up on Cape Cod had been good for everyone. Breakfast could wait. He grabbed the keys on the counter downstairs, and he called upstairs, “I’m leaving. I won’t be gone long.” Last year, the school principal had fired him with bogus charges. Sean had sworn on every holy book that he’d been fired because his doctors had discovered cancer in a routine physical exam. The sickness sucked. But he’d survived. And now he used his vast wealth to get what he wanted. No teacher should be treated so callously. He had taken the job at the time to prove to himself he had more choices than being the chief financial officer of his father’s corporation. He set his jaw and walked outside to his car, where the smell of freshly cut grass hit his senses. The moment he stepped outside and headed toward the garage, Sean stared at the vast forested area on the property for a moment and pressed his lips together. Trees made sense. Women never had. His luck with women had been bad from the start. His first girlfriend, Gigi Dumont, had left him for parts unknown, and then later his wife, now his ex, Jennifer, had also left. She’d played with a whole set of loose scruples. But Jennifer hadn’t hurt him, not like Gigi had. Sean rolled his shoulders. Why did everything in his life always seem to go back to Gigi leaving? He fished out his keys from his pocket. And now Gigi had moved back into the house next door. Sean opened the garage door. A quick click of a button and the gate lifted. Last night he hadn’t slept. Today his shoulders were straight. This moment had nothing to do with women and everything to do with justice. His fingers traced the shiny finish of his brother Gerard’s Aston Martin. Without blinking, he opted to borrow the car. He’d be early and outshine everyone else. Gerard had offered to loan it to him specifically for today. Sean licked his lips and turned the key, igniting the engine, and took off. A daydream flashed in his eyes. Principal Murray’s jaw dropped to the ground in shock the second Sean stepped inside the office with the papers. Sean clutched the wheel. He intended to twist the knife even further. People like Mr. Murray gave businessmen around the world the reputation of cold, heartless automatons, especially when he claimed the firing had been over “job performance.” Every one of Sean’s students had passed the state assessments. Now, Sean ran the finances for his parents, his father’s company, and his brothers. The support of his family to get him through cancer treatments had been phenomenal, but what if he hadn’t had that support? What if he’d had no money to pay for treatments? He’d be dead because the principal had fired him due to the insurance increases. Well, now Sean had a better solution. He sped down the country road for the half-hour trip. During his horrible marriage to Jennifer, he’d worked as a teacher, and his students had achieved both academic and social successes. Jennifer had been the nightmare that drove Sean away from Collins Industries, Collins Enterprises, Collins Investments, and Collins Mutual, to list a few of his father’s multiple companies. Post divorce and cancer, Sean had made the decision to offer employees packages in cases of sickness. Anyone who worked for him would now receive a payoff equal to the job performance done over the years as part of a settlement. Money paid hospital bills. Sean’s stomach clenched as he gazed at the sign for the Barnstable Charter High School parking lot. Sean parked Gerard’s fancy lawyer wheels that screamed “out to impress” right next to the about-to-be-sacked principal’s BMW sedan. The Aston Martin made the perfect goodbye gesture. Murray had been outclassed. Sean leaned forward in his seat, refusing to feel guilty. He waited for the school bell to ring and watched students bounding outside. Unlike most people, his family had money, and normally he wouldn’t like flaunting wealth. His Jeep Wrangler suited him just fine, but today he needed to look like the elite businessman he was. He stepped out a minute later, and in a fast walk, he strode down the halls. Sean winked the second he saw the school guard’s shocked face. “You had cancer?” asked the older African American lady who coached the wrestling team. “Yes, I did. I’m better now,” Sean said, smiling. He inclined his head and passed the security desk then Sean turned right toward the principal’s office. In his briefcase he carried the school board’s ruling and the proof of sale of the school to Collins Enterprises. Barnstable was a private school that followed school board law. The sale to his company had been finalized, but Sean had insisted on telling Murray in person. The minutes of the meeting would be posted at one that day. Victory waited for him, and justice tasted better than homemade chocolate chip cookies. In the office, the overqualified secretary, Mattie, dropped her pencil on the floor. Sean made eye contact with her and the older woman smiled back. Then he picked up the pencil in stride, and handed it back to her. She opened her mouth to speak, and he shook his head, placing his finger over his lips to silently request her silence. She smiled her response and swiveled her chair back to her computer. He had seen Mattie in action and understood the older woman had known how to treat people more than anyone else in the office. Outside the principal’s door, Sean straightened his tie into perfect alignment. His heart rate sped up and his entire body became alert then he heard her voice. Gigi, or should he say, Giovanna Dumont. Her quiet, sweet voice unmanned him, making his palms sweat. Why would she be here? And how could she still steal his breath away?

Excerpt #1
“What are we doing here?” Maya asked when we pulled up to my shop. This date was about remembering our first meeting, for her to see how I truly felt. Taking her face in my hands, I caressed her cheek with the tip of my fingers and leaned forward to ghost my lips over hers.

“Where did we meet, Maya?” I asked, then waited for her reaction. She didn’t disappoint. A small smile overtook her face.

“Here.”

“So where else would I want our first date to be?” Maya giggled, confusing me.

“This isn’t our first date, Talan.”

“No? Are you sure?” She nodded, still laughing at my confused state.

“I don’t remember taking you—”

“Shush,” Maya placed her finger over my lips, “our first date happened right here a few months back. The same night we discussed your tattoos.”

“But you said . . .” I trailed off; this having a woman shit was confusing.

“I know what I said, Talan.” She sounded exasperated and all traces of humor left her features. “I asked to date, to make us official.”

“Why didn’t you just say so?” I grumbled while rubbing my temples.

“I did; you just heard what you wanted.” Bitty raised an eyebrow at me. “Now, feed me.”

“You drive me insane.” If I didn’t care for this woman, I would strangle her. My words were met with another raised brow and a saucy smirk.

“Then I’m doing something right.” I laughed at her reply. What could I say to argue that logic? She had every right to act cocky at the moment. Bitty had me by the balls and knew it. “Stay.”

Turning off the engine of my truck, I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car. Maya stayed inside, waiting on me.

“Ready?” She nodded. I unbuckled her seatbelt, grabbed her by the waist, and helped her down. Her small frame slithered down my body, rubbing against my hardened cock.

 “For you? Since we met.”

“Behave.” My warning was met with defiance. Maya’s hands grabbed onto the front of my pants. She pulled me forward; my erect shaft nestled between our bodies, pushing against her stomach.

“Feed me.”

“Hungry?” I grunted when her right hand dipped inside my waistband.

“Commando?” She moaned, ignoring my question. Maya ran the tip of her fingers around the slit, rubbing the liquid there over my swollen head. I shivered while watching, mesmerized, as she brought the glistening digits toward her lips and sucked.

“Maya, please. Let’s go eat. You have to be starving.”

“I am,” she whimpered, as my flavor danced over her tongue. Maya winked at me then shimmied once more against me. The head of my cock—now purple and swollen—peeked out from the waistband, searching for her touch.

“Quit fucking around, Bitty.” Growling under my breath, I tucked my dick back into my pants, much to her disappointment. It’d been torture not taking her, but it was getting worse than before. We were both so close to that moment and we knew it.

“I ordered in.”

“Warned you; I’m hungry.” She ignored my statement and instead pulled me down to her level. Her eyes shone with emotion, deep and as pure as she was.

“Don’t care about food.” Maya bit my lip, hard. “Feed me.”

“Fuck.” She killed my will, my need to show her I wanted more from her than just the sweet pussy between her thighs.

“First, food, and then for dessert, I’ll give you my cock,” I whispered—more a plea than a bargain—against her lips. She bit down once more and backed away, leaving my lip bruised and tingling.

“Tempting.” Bitty stepped back. “Convince me.”

“Okay.” I took a step forward and backed her into my truck, my fingers tangling in her hair. She opened her mouth to speak, but my finger over those succulent lips silenced her.

“Quiet.” Maya whined against my hold. My hips kept her in place, taunting her, I ground my hardened length against her.

“We’re going to enter my shop and enjoy all the hard work I’ve put into this date. Nod if you understand.” She did.

“I want to enjoy you.” Bitty moaned at this, and swiveled her hips into me.

“Feed you. Don’t take that away from me.” At those last words, a soft expression overtook her face and she stilled in my arms. She sighed.

“You win.”

“What was that?” I asked needing to hear her say it again.

“You win.” Maya smiled and pushed me back with a gentle shove.

“I want it all. You, me, and this date . . . the small talk and flirting. Maybe even another orgasm at the end of the night?” She was too cute when showing her neediness.

“No more harassing me?” I gave her a playful smile.

“For now.” She winked then pushed me toward the front doors of my shop.

“Stop.” I turned to face her. Maya’s look was confused, but her confusion turned into that burning need I loved when she realized what I’d pulled from my pockets.

“Turn around,” I demanded and she complied. She did. No questions, just obedience. I could get used to that.

“I’m going to cover your eyes.” My words were met with a needy whimper. Maya pressed her body closer to mine. The heat coming off her skin seared me.

“How do you expect me to behave if—”

“Quiet. Not a word,” I whispered into her ear and laid a small kiss on her neck. “Just enjoy.” The small blindfold I’d pulled from my pocket dangled from my finger. Her eyes followed its movement. I wanted her to see the words etched onto the silk fabric, the ones I’d chosen just for her: Marked. It said everything I felt. Every one of my pores, every cell in my body wore her stamp—her mark. Now, she would wear mine.

EXCERPT –
"Cassandra," the strange man called, his voice deep and melodic at the same time. My heart skipped a beat when I heard my name on his lips. "I am so glad you’re finally here." He walked toward me, all grace and easiness, and I had to remind myself to breathe, chiding myself for being nervous about a strange man in a dream.
"Do I know you?" I asked as he stopped in front of me and smiled down at me familiarly. I frowned at him. He was taller than I was, my head not quite reaching his chin, and I had to look up at him, resisting the urge to stretch onto my toes to get a better look at his eyes.
"Not yet," he admitted, "but I have been waiting for you nonetheless. My name is Aleksander. I am your Caomhnóir."
"My what? What’s a kweevrore?" I stumbled over the unfamiliar word, trying to mimic the way it had rolled off his tongue.
"Your Caomhnóir. Like a guardian or protector," he said, a ghost of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth from the way I’d tested out the unfamiliar word.
"And what is it exactly you think you are guarding me from?” I asked, my eyes glancing suspiciously over the trees as the branches rustled with a breeze.
"I am not your guard, Cassandra.”  He smirked at me as if the thought of guarding me was somehow amusing. "I am your guardian, your mentor. I am here to guide you during your time here in Otherworld." He spread his arms wide and gestured to the lush landscape surrounding us.
I scowled. "Please don't call me Cassandra. Only my grandfather calls me Cassandra. "
"What would you like to be called then?"
"Call me Cassie," I said. "What is Otherworld?"
"All right then, Cassie. It’s hard to describe in mortal terms, but I will try," he said with a grin, reaching out and taking my hand in his.
I inhaled sharply when his hand touched mine. My palm tingled strangely, and a strange heat passed briefly between us. I wondered if he had felt it as well. He caught my gaze, his startled green eyes mirroring my own before he looked down at our hands, studying them.
I was sure he had felt that sizzle too.  I was starting to get curious. I couldn't recall ever actually feeling in my dreams before. Unless you counted my nightmares.  Somehow I always felt those as if they were real. Was this a nightmare?
When I thought about it, I realized that I shouldn't be able to taste the salt in the air or smell the woodsy aroma of the trees around us. I frowned with confusion. This dream was far too real for my taste, and it was starting to make my head hurt.
"The Otherworld is the land of the Fae," Aleksander explained patiently. He tucked my arm under his, turning and leading me down the beach. The waves swept gently up the beach and over my feet, deliciously warm and again bothering me because I knew that I shouldn't be able to feel the warmth.
"The Fae? You mean like faeries?” I asked finally, trying not to think too much about how disturbingly real it all was even as I relished the feeling of the warm water and the sand.  It had been so long since I had seen the ocean, and strange as this all was, I wasn’t in that dark clearing sniveling and waiting to be killed.
"The Fae are...well, for lack of a better term, yes, Faeries. We are what is left of the guardians of the realms of dreams."
He must have seen the look of confusion on my face because he patted my hand reassuringly, drawing me closer to his side as he led me across the glittering sand. My breath caught in my throat. Under any other circumstance, strolling down a beautiful beach hand in hand with a gorgeous man would be happy dream. Instead, I was overwhelmed and felt panic starting to build within me. My heart beat rapidly and my breath sped up as if adrenaline were beginning to flow.
"This place is our home. It lies outside of the mortal realm, on a different plane of existence, but one that runs parallel to it. I know that probably doesn't make any sense to you yet, but it will with time.”
"Are you seriously trying to tell me that I'm in some kind of alternate dimension here?” I asked, frustrated and confused.  “Oh man, I've got to lay off the Supernatural reruns before bed."
A different realm of existence? Those cheap grocery store cakes were off the shopping list permanently. All those preservatives had probably fried my brain. Becca was right. It was time to go organic. Science fiction and junk food obviously had dire consequences when combined.
"You are a Síofra,” he said, ignoring my outburst.
“Sheefra?” I repeated, stumbling over the unfamiliar word.  What weird language was he speaking?
He stopped and turned to face me so quickly that I walked into him. I could feel his breath on my cheeks as he looked down at me, bringing his hands to my upper arms and holding them gently as if bracing me for something important.
"You, Cassandra Matthews, are a changeling."

My Review
I so love Fae books... probably because I always secretly want to be one!!!

This book was no different.  Cassie is nineteen, and trying to get her way through school.  It doesn't help that she keeps having dreams and nightmares that seem to stay with her even after she's awake.

On the night of her birthday, she finds out she's a Changeling with the ability to pass through her dream state into the Otherworld.  The world of the Fae which runs parallel to the human one.

I seriously loved this book!  It doesn't help that I'm kind of biased... as I really love the Fae... but I loved this book!  It's a mystery romance fantasy young adult book all wrapped into one! There is something after the Changelings, and Cassie has to find out what it is before something happens to her.  It's something that has the ability to kill her, as she has dreamnt about it more then once.

It had me right until the end.... I loved it!! I honestly can not wait it to read it again!!
