THE REVIEW:
This book had me from the first chapter! I was cheering this girl on from the first word!
Kiera has always been overweight, and has always hated it. When her best friend brings over a gypsy who offers her a spell to make her skinny, she jumps at the chance to have the body she's always craved.
There is one stipulation though... no sex. No sex at all, or she goes back to her old self. Thinking this won't be such a problem, Kiera agrees to do the spell. On her first night with her new body, she goes to a club and meets Cain. Her a were-tiger who is used to women falling at his feet and doing whatever he wants.
That all stops when Keira tells him no... the one word he has never heard come from a woman's lips.
When Cain, who is a solider for the Eternal Forces, starts investigating murders to human females, he realizes Keira is in danger. Despite her rejection of him, they are pushed together for her protection.
I really loved this book!! I loved Cain... he was smexy! Also, his total acceptance of Keira was amazing to see. He was a man who had loved many women is his long lifetime, and once she came into his life, there was no one else for him. No matter how much he fought it, there was no other woman that could turn him on like she did. What first started as a hunter finding it's prey, turned into a love he had never felt before.
Keira... I felt sorry for her. She was damaged. Figuratively and physically. She didn't want to give up her new skinny body for Cain. Or any man for that matter. She was done with men, but she didn't expect Cain to be so determined to have her. She was his, and no other man was going to harm her.
Everything came into focus when her life is put in danger. By someone she was not expecting.
I could not put this book down. It had action, romance, sex, suspence... everything I love in a book! I can't wait to read book #2!!
