Not thinking she's ever going to see him again, Lilly puts the player out of her mind. She's not expecting to be reunited with him as her firm's biggest client. Theo makes it known that he wants her, but she again turns him down. She knows he's a man whore who is used to getting what he wants. After a rather embarrassing night with the gorgeous man, Lilly is convinced he will not see her again. She doesn't understand the determination of a man who is desperate. He's desperate for her, and will do almost anything to have her.
As I said, I loved this story for the main reason that Lilly wasn't going to give in to him. If she did, it would be on her terms, and it would be her choice. She just didn't expect him to be so damned tempting; and Theo is pretty damn tempting. Also, she's got reasons why she doesn't want to give him what he wants... secrets that she keeps close to her.
I loved Lilly, because she wasn't the easy pickings that Theo assumed she would be. She's different and he's constantly struggling to get her out of his head.
I gotta say, I didn't like Theo at first, as he was a man who was used to women flinging themselves at him. He proved that he was different once he took care of Lilly when she got a little too drunk at a club one night... OMG... I would have died if I would have been her. DIED!!!!
I can not wait to read this book again!!!!
