Wow... is pretty much all I was saying when Jarod came back into the picture... but I'll get more into him later...
Cece is devastated when she gives herself to Jarod only to find out that he left for boot camp. Without so much as a word to her. It doesn't help matters that before he left, he treated her horrible after what they had shared together. After his betrayal, she vows to never give herself over to a man again. Never again will she give her heart and soul to someone. It is a way to protect herself from being broken again.
When someone starts randomly giving her flowers, at first she's flattered, but it soon turns to fear when they start showing up in places this person shouldn't know about.
Dylan, her best friend, is determined to keep her safe. They aren't related, but to her, he is her big brother. He is the only man she trusts fully and can depend on. Imagine her surprise when he hires a private detective to help find the guy responsible for leaving the flowers.
Jard Gates. The one man who single-handedly wrecked her. She's rightfully pissed when she sees him, but knows he's not going anywhere if Dylan has anything to say about it. What she doesn't expect is him to be so damn beautiful. He's back from the military, and is also determined to find the guy who refuses to leave her alone.
He has secrets and demons of his own, and knows Cece is pissed that he's back in her life. He wants her back, and will do pretty much anything to get her back. There is the problem of the guy she's seeing, Derrick, but he knows that she isn't too serious about him.
I loved this book!! I loved Cece so much! She worked hard to keep her clothing store, and fought even harder for her feelings for her Jarod. She was pissed he was back in her life, but she knows that he's not the same person who left her. He's different...
Now... Jarod... yes, he's injured from the military, but that doesn't stop him in the least to do his job. He wants Cece back, and knows that she is going to make him fight for it. It's a fight he's ready to win. She was all he thought about in his darkest moments, and he wanted to make it up to her after what happened when they were kids. He is wow.... he's beautiful!! I think he's my new book boyfriend....
Cece knows she should stay away from Jarod, but the feelings she's been trying so hard to keep at bay, will not stop coming to the surface.

I live in New England with my young family. I’m a stay at home mom to two very active children. For all of you who are familiar with the stress of this job, I decided to complete an item on my bucket list and write a book. When I’m not writing, you will find me cooking, reading, shopping or being silly with the kids. In my opinion, one of life’s greatest pleasure is being able to get lost in a book.
