It is 2012 now... I can not believe it!!! Wasn't it just summer time??
We had a great start to the New Year... my dad came with my brother, and we did Christmas. It didn't feel like Christmas, since it was a week later, but it was good to see my brother. I don't see him often, and it's great that he comes to spend the holiday with us. He brought lamb, and I heated up the ham, so it was a great dinner!! The lamb was perfect!!
Plus, I've decided to go a different way with my book. Same characters, same story line, but just a different angle. Something that will make it better, in my opinion. I can thank my cop for giving me the idea, as he was talking to me all weekend.
The joy of being a writer I guess..... I'm thankful, that I haven't got too far into the story to change it. I'm thinking this will be a good change...

You had me at lamb LOL Sort of had to stop daydreaming and get back to reading. Kidding. Well only a little. Not a lot of people like lamb here in the States, so when I see someone talk about lamb is like OMG YEA!
Gotta love the work we do as writers. I hope that your writing goes smoothly. Usually, when you change angles early in the story it gives you a sort of adrenaline rush to carry on writing.
Happy New Writing Year!
I love this blog! Happy 2012! New follower ;D

Happy New Year, Jess. And good luck on your book. I'm in the beginning process of writing my own, so I know how it can be, as you have said, frustrating. Don't be afraid to make changes. You know your characters and they will lead you where you need to go.
Best wishes to you and your writing endeavors in 2012!
I came across your blog via your message on bookblogs. If you have a moment, I invite you to visit my author site @ www.gabbynesiba.com.
Happy blogging!
Thanks so much! Will definitely check out your website Gabby!
Am going to be writing today, after taking a break for a couple of days. I've had to think about these changes and let my characters interact in my head. Now... to put it on paper...
