Here it is... My Friendly Friday again!  Today I have Janiera Eldridge posting today on the blog!  Welcome Janiera, and thank you for guest posting today!  Janiera and I are friends on Facebook, and she said she was interested in guest posting on the blog today!

My Rather…..Intense Reading Schedule

I consider myself a “professional reader” and I do my heaviest reading right before bed. For some reason. I’ve developed a whole routine around reading at night, which is kind strange now that I think about it but hey at least you know I love reading!
So here is how it goes:

·                   1.    Check email, FB, Twitter, usually end up staying online longer than I need to…gripe about being on too long.
·                 2.    Hop in the shower which feels unnaturally good after the Fibro pains have set in for the day.
·         Get out of shower, slather on some sweet smelling lotion, light candles- sleeping candles so that if I’m lucky I’ll fall asleep before 3 a.m.
·              3.   Set up my pillows exactly how I want them to make myself comfortable, fidget with my kindle (or paperback) for about 5 minutes to make myself comfortable. I’m sure if someone filmed it, it would make great entertainment.
·                    4.    Read until A. My eyes feel like steel doors and can’t be held them open any longer or B. The book is so wonderful I don’t go to bed until 4 am because it is just so freakin’ awesome. It’s a good thing I’m a full time author who has complete control over her enter schedule. or I’d be so screwed.
So, that’s my schedule lovelies! I really hope since I’ve bared my soul to you on my freakish reading routine, I’m not the only one who has one. I was a reader before I was a writer and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Janiera Eldridge is the author of Soul Sisters.

Synopsis:
Soul Sisters is an urban fantasy novel about African-American twin sisters Ani and Dana who have a rather unique secret: one sister is human while the other is a vampire. While the sisters have lived peacefully with each other for many years one fateful night will change both their lives forever. When a drunken man tries to attack Dana (the human sister) Ani (the vampire sister) protects her sister with all of her ferocious power.

However, when the vampire’s leader Donovan finds out about the public display he calls for the sisters to be assassinated for disobedience. Ani and Dana now are in for the fight of their lives to protect each other as well as the lives of their dedicated friends who have joined them on their mission for survival. If Dana and Ani can make it through this time of uncertainty, Ani can take her new place as vampire queen. Soul Sisters is expected to be a trilogy; The book also features a multicultural cast of characters that brings a new edge of chic to the vampire world.
