This is one series where you have to read the first book in order to understand the second book.
Trista Lennon-Carter wants nothing more then to live her life with her rocker husband Lennon "Linx" Carter. If only someone would inform her brother Trey of that little fact.
Marrying Linx seemed to be the only thing Trista had done right. When she receives a phone call asking her brothers account numbers and then a gun shot, she's convinced that he's been killed. Just before she and Linx are supposed to go to Ireland to find him, the leader of Lucifer Saints wants to meet with them; and he has plans for her and Linx of his own. Plans that puts Trista back where she never wanted to be. In the middle of a motorcycle gang and all the violence they represent.
She finds out secrets that Linx was trying to keep from her, secrets that could change their relationship forever. Also, there are things about her brother she never knew, which explains why she is being forced back to this gang.
I loved this series!! I loved the love Trista and Linx had for each other. Yes, she was only 18, but she had been forced to grow up in a way no one should have to grow up. She and Linx were both damaged souls who understood each other.
Linx loved her completely, and accepted the fact that due to what happened to her in her life, Trista will always have issues. He makes it clear to her that no matter what, he is there for her and will help her through everything. There are times that Trista doubts their love, and the choices he makes for her, but in the end he's makes it clear he's making them because he loves her. Even put himself in danger.
